The GUSA Fury earned third place in the Jefferson Open 3v3 tournament hosted by the Richmond Strikers and KickIt 3v3 on July 17-18 at the West Creek Soccer Complex.  The Fury, competing in the U8 Travel division against teams from around the Metro Richmond area, finished with a 3-3 record. 

  The team lost to Strikers Tevez 7-3 in the semi-finals, and bested the Lightning 7-3 to take third place.  Team participants were:  Evan Walker (8 goals, 3 assists), Zachary deShazo (12 goals, 2 assists), Matthew Lewis (8 goals, 3 assists), and Nicholas Kernan (3 goals, 2 assists).
