Due to scorching record temperatures forecasted for this weekend, the Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen Hoopla 3 on 3 basketball tournament scheduled for July 24-25 has been postponed to October 9-10, 2010.

“Given the forecasted record temperatures, we do not feel this tournament would offer the fun, friendly and, most importantly, safe atmosphere that we wish to provide our participants, volunteers and spectators,” said tournament director Megan Silva.

All teams already registered for the tournament will be able to choose between one of two options: 1) Teams can remain registered for the tournament to be held on October 9-10, 2010, or 2) Teams can receive a full refund and be removed from the tournament registration. Teams may also receive a full refund now and then re-register later if they choose.

Online registration will remain available at www.sportsbackers.org until Wednesday, October 6 at 11:50 p.m. Team entry fees for the High School and Youth divisions are $80, and fees for the Adult and Elite divisions are $100.
