Message: I found this on The Goochland Gazette site and thought you'd be interested: From the 04//08/10 Edition Cagle Charles E. Cagle (Stitch) 51, of Goochland died March 31, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Brenda and (2) daughters, Michelle and Melissa, (1) Grand Daughter, Arianya (Peaches). He is also survived by his soul mate, Kim Daugherty and her children, Ashton, Hannah Kay, and Mitchell. His mother, Hettie Amos, (2) Sisters, Sharon Smith and husband Smitty and Annette Silvers, (1) Brother, Ricky Amos , a host of nieces and nephews and his dog, Banjo. Family received friends at Norman Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. on Friday, April 2, 2010. Memorial Services were held at Perkins Baptist Church on Saturday, April 3, 2010. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Fife Co.#4 Fire & Rescue. Fitzgerald David R. Fitzgerald Sr., 70, of Glen Allen, passed away peacefully March 31, 2010. He was the son of the late James Robert Fitzgerald Sr. and Aurelia Manakin Davis Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Robert Layne Fitzgerald Jr., B. C. Fitzgerald and Cary Manakin Fitzgerald. He is survived by his wife, Ann T. Fitzgerald; daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Fitzgerald of Goochland; son, David R. Fitzgerald Jr. and wife, Debra, of Glen Allen, and their two daughters, Cary and Emily; a sister, Kathleen Bracken of Richmond; brother, Gordon Davis Fitzgerald and wife, Jerry, of Virginia Beach; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Cricket. David was the owner and founder of Fitzgerald Oil, Inc. and Fitzgerald Distributing. He was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Brook Hill. He was known and loved for his sense of humor and his love of life. The family received friends Friday, April 2, 2010 at Bliley’s-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A service was held Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Brook Hill. Graveside services were held at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 1214 Wilmer Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227, or American Diabetes Association.
