I found this on The Goochland Gazette site and thought you'd be interested: From the 06/25/09 Edition Johnson Mr. Douglas Mitchell Johnson, age 78, of Goochland, departed this life on Sunday, June 14, 2009 in Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Lee Johnson; three sons, Douglas J. (Jacqueline), Arthur D. (Arlene), and Paul W. (Juanita) Johnson; three daughters, Shirley J. Goins (Ernest), Rosemary Mayo (James), Peggy A. Johnson; 15 grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a son-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland. Funeral services were held Friday, June 19, 2009 at Antioch Baptist Church, Goochland. Rev. Daniel Watson Sr., pastor, officiated. Dr. Gregory L. Beechaum, eulogist. Graveside services were held in the church cemetery. Kuhn Ginger Marie Kuhn, of Goochland, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Pete” Kuhn; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son, Philip Kuhn and his wife, Cindy; her daughter, Sheila Wolff and her husband, Jay; her devoted companion, Gerrit Werner; brother, Gary VandenBerg; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Services were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local ASPCA. Price Doris Ann Price 67 of Ruther Glen passed away on Friday June 12, 2009. She is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Nealan and her son Stevie Price. She is survived by her husband of 45 years David Price, daughter; Jackie Norwood, two sons; Duane Price and his wife Virginia, David Eugene Price, two grandchildren; Lacee Nealan, Andrew Price, one great-grandchild Kayla Nealan, sister; Nancy Gouge, brother; Martin Norwood, a very special friend Bullet, and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Doris enjoyed cooking, reading books, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. The family received friends on Monday June 15, 2009 at the Nelsen Funeral Home 412 S. Washington Highway Ashland , where a service was held Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
