Katherine Sharp, age 88, of Columbia, Va., passed away March 13, 2007 at Louisa Health Care Center, Louisa, Va. She was born November 3, 1918 in Columbia, daughter of the late Susie and E.W. Sharp. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Elisha and Ernest; and three sisters, Florence, Ethel and Marion. Katherine retired from Thalhimer’s Dept. Store in Richmond. She is survived by her loving friends, Rose and Bruce Jones; and many cousins. Graveside services will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Columbia, Va. on Friday, March 16 at 11 a.m. Sheridan Funeral Home of Kents Store is in charge of arrangements.
