William David “Bluegrass” Murray, 70, of Cartersville, left to join the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, George William Murray and Francis Pearl Hopkins Murray. He is survived by his two sons and their wives, William Phillip Murray (Betty) and Mark Wayne Murray (Rhonda); five grandchildren, Brandon, Andrea, Amber, David Allen, and Dylan; one sister, Virginia Ruth Taylor; and a long-time companion, Glenna Sties. He retired from Nabisco after 23 years and was a member of Cartersville Ruritan. Remains rest at Norman Funeral Home, Goochland, Va., where family will receive friends Friday, March 9, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Cartersville Baptist Church, Cartersville, Va. Interment Cartersville Cemetery.
