Deal
Alma Mae Parrish Deal, 82, of Gainesville, passed away Sept. 20, 2009 at the Prince William Hospital. Born Aug. 11, 1927 in Goochland County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Wilmer and Alpha Johnson Parrish. On Dec. 27, 1947 in Richmond, she married George Douglas Deal, who survives. She was the co-owner and operator of the Lamont Photography Studio in Arlington, Va. for over 35 years. Surviving besides her beloved husband of 61 years are three daughters, Sherry Deal of Reno, Nev., Jan Moody and her husband, Martin, of Kensington, Md., Carol Serna of Palm Bay, Fla.; four sisters, Louise Durrett, Dorothy Kusterer and her husband, Bernard, June Burton and her husband, Eddie, and Arlene Berry and her husband, Carter; two brothers, Earl Parrish and his wife, Virginia, Everett Parrish and his wife, Alice; and five grandchildren, James Warthen, Andrea Moody, George Warthen, Kelsey Moody and Kimberly Moody. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at the Baker-Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas; a reception immediately followed. Graveside services were private and took place at a later date. Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to Capital Hospice, 10530 Linden Lake Plaza, #200, Manassas, Va. 20109. Miller
George Fredric Miller, died Sept. 19, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; a host of family and friends; and his beloved dog, Megan. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Williamson
Charles D. Williamson Sr. “Red” of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009.  He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Williamson.  He is survived by his children: Linda Withers and husband William of Nokesville, Va., Deborah Williamson and Gary Berti of Rockville Md., Charles D. Williamson, Jr. (Butch) and wife Deidre of Vienna Va., Carol Williamson of Goochland, Va., Sandy Johnson and husband Freddie of Columbia, Va. and Rusty Williamson of Columbia, Va., (10) Grandchildren and (2) Great Grandchildren.  Additional Survivors include (4) Sisters, (1) Brother, an Aunt, Nieces, Nephews and a host of Cousins and Special Friends.  Charles served in the Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of VFW Post 8617.  He was a lifelong member of Local Carpenters Union 132.  Remains rest at Norman Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. where the family received friends Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009. Funeral Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 at Mizpah Christian Church.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fife Volunteer Fire Dept.

White
Helen Williams White, 82, of Goochland, died suddenly on Sept. 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Randolph White. She was the loving mother of Brian Randolph White (Linda) of Goochland and Amy White Waldrop of Richmond. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Benton, Philip (Ka’ea) and Hannah; a great-granddaughter, Kai; and sisters, Gladys McKessan and Jane Jones. Helen was a graduate of Longwood College and enjoyed the teaching profession for many years. She was the director of Bon Air Presbyterian Preschool, where she enjoyed teaching the young children. After retirement, she spent time traveling, spending time with her family, and going to live theater. The family receive friends Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street. The immediate family had a life celebration on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 at Massanutten to recall many family memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bon Air Presbyterian Preschool.
