Audrey Brown Fortune, 71, of Crozier, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clarence P. “Patrick” Fortune. She is also survived by her son, Michael and his wife, Jennifer; her three grandchildren, Andrew, Carolyn and Savannah Fortune; and her sister, Linda B. Turner and her husband, John. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Erma Brown; and her two brothers, Gene E. Brown and Russell Brown Jr. Mrs. Fortune retired from Crestar Bank after 35 years of service. The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Homes’ Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave. from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with Christian Wake at 7 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 300 N. Sheppard St. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
