Rose Marie DesPortes, 69, of Manakin-Sabot, died April 2, 2007 in Florence, S.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene S. DesPortes; and brother, Dubern Turner. She is survived by her sister, Violette Turner and her husband, Jack Collins, of Pamplico, S.C.; brothers, John and his wife, Pat Turner, of Plainfield, Illinois, Steve and his wife, Beci Turner, of Overland Park, Kan., Barry and his wife, Dede Turner, of Hannah, S.C.; sister-in-law, Jane Turner of Florence, S.C.; and 14 nieces and nephews. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, April 10 at Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Arrangements by the West Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street.
