Staff Reports

On the morning of May 27, the C&F Bank Branch in Goochland County was robbed by two males.

The men were driving an older model dark green Buick with rust on top of the vehicle and a “Support the Troops” sticker over the right rear passenger wheel.

As one man stood lookout at the front doors of the bank, a second man approached the teller and presented a note demanding cash. He lifted his jacket to display a handgun tucked into his belt. The men left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A dye pack exploded inside the vehicle as it exited the bank. It was last seen heading East on Patterson Avenue towards Henrico.

Anyone with information should call 556-5349 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
