The marriage of Miss Sara Lamar Poston of Richmond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Poston of Richmond, to Mr. Jason Michael White of Goochland, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Michael White of Goochland, took place Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Maymont Park in the Italian Garden. The Reverend Dwight L. Zavitz, Jr. officiated.
The bride looked gorgeous as she was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meyerhoffer of Lakeland, Florida. Mr. White is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry White of Goochland and Mr. Lewis Henley and the late Mrs. Evelyn Henley of Manakin-Sabot.
Miss Carrie Poston was her twin sisters’ maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Megan Coleman, friend of the bride, Mrs. Jennifer Holliday, friend of the bride, and Miss Carrie Beth White, sister of the groom.
Mr. Jordan White served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Michael Beagle, friend of the groom, Mr. Edward Coleman, friend of the groom, and Mr. Kyle Poston, brother of the bride. Ushers were Mr. Solomon Duke, friend of the groom, and Mr. Mike Osborne, friend of the groom. The ring bearer was Master Carter Zavitz.
The rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents, was held at the families home. The reception was held at Maymont Park Garden Hall.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in their new home in Goochland, Virginia.
