Preston Ryan Gordon and Bethany Frances Hughes celebrated their marriage on June 26, 2010, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Glen Allen.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Lt. Col. (U.S. Army, Ret.) and Mrs. Thomas William Hughes of Woodbridge. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Gordon of Goochland.

The Maid of Honor was Emily Hughes, sister of the bride.  The Best Man was Bryan Gordon, father of the groom.  The bridesmaids were Colleen Dunn, Angie Douglas, Sarah Schwarz, and Jennifer Harris (friends of the bride).  The groomsmen were Patrick Gordon (brother of the groom), Ben Davis, Paul Russo, and Ryan Rankin (friends of the groom).

Preston teaches geometry and coaches Varsity Boy’s Basketball at Louisa County High School.  Bethany teaches Kindergarten at Goochland Elementary School and coaches Varsity Cheerleading at Goochland High School.

The couple honeymooned in Oahu, Hawaii and now resides in Mineral.
