The marriage of Miss Amy Elizabeth Fulton of Richmond, daughter of Mrs. Carol Cavedo Rotelli of Mechanicsville, and Mr. and Mrs. William Floyd Fulton, Jr. of Atlee to Mr. Raymond Nuckolls Parrish, Jr. of Richmond, son of Mrs. Brenda Duke Parrish of Richmond, and the late Mr. Raymond Nuckolls Parrish, Sr., formerly of Goochland, took place on May 15, 2009 at Cannon Memorial Chapel, University of Richmond. The Rev. Timothy R. Wilson officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brent Cavedo and the late Mrs. Amy Elizabeth Ham Cavedo, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Floyd Fulton, Sr. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Kendall Duke, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Alexis Parrish.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Monica Longest Horsley. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Julie Christine Fulton, Mrs. Angela Parrish Cosby, Mrs. Wendy Michele Carter, Mrs. Heather Ann Keats and Mrs. Paige Carlson Smith.

The best man was Mr. John Dwyce Morris. Groomsmen were Mr. William Floyd Fulton III, Mr. Charles Franklin Noble Cosby, Sr., and Mr. Stephen Whitefield Smith. The ring bearers were Master William Floyd Fulton IV and Master Charles Franklin Noble Cosby, Jr.

The scripture reader was Mrs. Paige C. Smith. The soloist was Mrs. Janet W. Hazlegrove. Guest book attendant was Mrs. Caroline C. Augustin and program attendant was Mr. Patrick J. Augustin.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s mother, was held at The Old Original Bookbinder’s. Following the wedding ceremony, the reception was held at The Mill at Fine Creek in Powhatan.

The bride, who received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, is currently a school counselor with Henrico County Public Schools.

The groom, a graduate of The University of Richmond, is the dealer of Parrish Motor Company, Inc. in Goochland.

Following a honeymoon in Europe, Ray and Amy now reside in Richmond.
