Arnold Eugene Childress and Eva Wood Childress celebrated their 50th Anniversary on May 3.  They were born and raised in the Goochland area, he in Rockville and she next door to their current home in Manakin Sabot.  Arnold still works as a driver for Virginia Oil Company and breeds the most beautiful Beagles around.  Eva is retired from the Department of Corrections and has the most beautiful yard around.  They have four children and nine grandchildren, all of whom love them more than words can say.  They have taught us so much about life, love and marriage.  We want everyone to know how proud we are of them.
