The marriage of Grace M. Berry of Powhatan and Eugene F. Brice of Goochland took place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at First Antioch Baptist Church in Powhatan.
Pastor Adlia Allen officiated the double ring ceremony.
The musician was Jeffery Smith and Soloist were Rev. Clifford Temple Sr. and Pricilla Poindexter.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Vernell Berry of Powhatan and the groom is the son of Mrs. Edmonia Brice of Goochland. Given in marriage by both parents, the bride was escorted by her brother William Brower of Richmond. She wore a gown designed by Bridal Elegance.
The maid of honor was Carolyn Berry of Powhatan and the matrons of honor were Alice Fleming of Henrico and Helen Swann of Powhatan. The brides maids were Ruby Taliaferro of Powhatan, Jean Chavis of Goochland, Shauntee’s Brower of Glen Allen, Alicia Pipes of Kentucky and Tracy Temple of Chesterfield. The junior brides maid was Aja Lyles of Atlanta.
The ushers were Markie Berry of Powhatan, Rev. Clifford Temple Jr. of Chesterfield, Michael Berry of Henrico and Phillip Berry Jr. of Midlothian. The junior ushers were Jordan Berry of Midlothian, Dallas Holmes of Goochland, Antonio Jones Jr. of Chesterfield and Ajaun Lyles of Atlanta. The junior flower girls were Jayden Berry of Midlothian, Anaya Jones of Powhatan and Macayla Solmon of Chesterfield. The flower girls were Keirston Temple, T’Nia Jones of Chesterfield and Kamarie Cox of Powhatan.
The best men were William Chavis of Goochland and Deacon Charles Martin of Stafford. The grooms men were Richard Pipes of Kentucky, Bruce Anderson, Andrew Chavis, Deacon Joseph Johnson Jr. all of Goochland, Corey Brower of Glen Allen and Rodney Anderson of Chesterfield.
Clifford Temple III of Chesterfield was the ring bearer. Cordell Brower was the bell ringer. A reception followed at the American Legion.
The couple will reside in Goochland.
