 Jessica Christine Bavolack and Matthew Bay Pascal Bavolack-Pascal The marriage of Jessica Christine Bavolack, daughter of Daniel and Trudy Bavolack of Rockville, to Matthew Bay Pascal, son of William and Kathleen Pascal of Herndon, took place on the campus of James Madison University on May 31, 2008. The bride is the granddaughter of Lawrence and Christine Nuckols of Rockville, and the late Margaret and Daniel Bavolack. The groom is the grandson of Marie Bay of East Brunswick, N.J., and the late Louis Bay. The Reverend John R. West, Jr. of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Richmond presided over the ceremony. Maggie Bavolack served as her sister’s Maid of honor, as did Amanda Nuckols, cousin of the bride. Christopher Pascal, brother of the groom, served as best man, as did Lt. Michael Stryer, friend of the groom. Ushers were Joe Nuckols, cousin of the bride; and Joshua Simmons, Mike McDowell, John Maresco, Ben Lundy, and Rosie North, friends of the bride and groom. A luncheon reception was held after the ceremony at Cally’s Restaurant in Harrisonburg. The bride is a 2002 graduate of Goochland High School, and the groom is a 2001 graduate of The Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria. Both Jessica and Matthew graduated from James Madison University. They are the creators of the web comic, “Geeks Next Door.” After a honeymoon trip to Silver Beach, N.J., the couple will reside in Northern Virginia.
